Organist Irena Budrytė-Kummer, having filled her musical chest at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, and later filling it at Rome’s Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music and the Stuttgart Higher School of Music, did not take long to win the sympathies of the international public and professionals alike. According to J. Flörsch, she discloses her driving, stormy temperament, realizing various musical measures with incredible virtuosity and musicality. During this concert the soloist endeavours to draw you into the whirlwind of musical events, interpreting the works of J. S. Bach, C. Franck and others.
