ERYK KOZŁOWSKI (sound director, Poland)
MACIEJ SZAŁEK (technician, Poland)
PRZEMYSŁAW WAWRZYNIAK (video, Poland)

Go down 120 metres underground, see the crater of the active Thrihnukagigur volcano, and enjoy music combining ethnic motives, jazz improvisation and the severe landscape of Iceland.
Maciej Fortuna is the first to give us the chance to see this spectacle in Lithuania, presenting his project Słowiański (Slavic). You'll see impressive images and the musicians' adventures from this extravagant trip, all with live music accompaniment. The performers promise that you'll be transported to a mysterious world during the concert, full of wild power, light and shadows: “What stuck in our minds the most was the aura of this space, and the unbelievably perfect acoustics in the cave formed from lava. I also remember the fear element. Not so much that we were inside an active volcano, but that we weren't sure how the instruments and our voices would react, playing at zero degrees”, Fortuna recalls. More impressions await at the concert and during the film!

Program features original jazz compositions

Concert duration 80 min.
