Alma Flamenca – a journey deep into the very heart of flamenco, harnessing the impressive choreography of Maise Márquez and breath-taking expressive movement.
Maise started to dance from the age of four, and by the age of seventeen she already had a diploma from the Conservatory of Mursia and an invitation to join the flamenco ballet theatre. Yet she was not content with such achievements. The clear talent of a choreographer and her virtuosi dance technique, revealed in original performances, earned Márquez world renown.
At the Christopher Summer Festival, she will be sharing the stage with musicians whose list of merits goes on and on. However, as soon as they touch their instruments,  it's plain to see that flamenco simply runs through their veins...
