A piano recital
Concert organised in cooperation with the MSTISLAV ROSTROPOVICH CHARITY AND SUPPORT FOUNDATION
PAULINA DŪMANAITĖ (piano, Spain)
In these times when there are so many virtuosi players, no one is surprised by how quickly musicians' fingers can move or their perfect technique. However, not so commonly is a performer so lauded for their interpretations or intriguing programs.
Yet this is precisely what pianist Paulina Dūmanaitė can boast of. Winning over 14 prizes at international competitions throughout all of Europe, and recently taking out the Ciudad de Albacete award, she is especially celebrated for her interpretations of the works of Beethoven and Chopin.
Their compositions will no doubt feature at the Christopher Summer Festival, while the intrigue of this particular program lies in sonatas and fantasies exclusively...
Program features L. van Beethoven, F. Chopin, A. Scriabin, S. Rachmaninov
Concert duration 70 min.
Children aged under 7 not admitted
