Parts of Truck were developed during a fellowship at Experimental Film Virginia 2014. The work was premiered in August, 2014 at the Harbour for the Arts Festival, Cape Charles, VA.
These performances of Bridgman|Packer Dance are supported in part by seed funds from Rapid Response, a project of American Dance Abroad.

Truck is performed inside a box truck with the audience viewing from the outside. The work brings performance to unusual locations while transforming the interior of an ordinary truck into a reimagined, magical space. Replete with startlingly evocative imagery that dynamically combines choreography, video, sound design and music, a house full of a thousand rooms – including an aquarium and a leafy hideaway – comes alive.

“Witty, sexy, and surreal” (The New Yorker), “Ingenious… magical and fascinating” (The New York Times). This engaging interactive installation invites participants of all ages to personally experience the magic of Bridgman|Packer Dance. In this video playground, participants' video images multiply and transform in scale, size, image and time. The live installation takes place in public spaces where video projections bring to life the architecture of the community.
