Samba da Minha Terra refer to the deep layers of Brazilian music that are being closely investigated by a joint team of musicians. Spellbound by the enticing rhythms, emotion-rich stories and music that simply sets free your feelings of joy, the performers are inviting us to a country (terra) where we can be happy!
The musicians from different continents met during music studies in the Netherlands, and it was Brazil which stuck them together... When asked about their concert in Vilnius, they can't hide their joy over percussionist Fernando Paiva Da Silva, who has joined the team. “Fernando is a special person. During the course of his career, he has organised many original projects and played with stars such as Joe Zawinul, Lionel Ritchie, Hermeto Pascoal, Vienna Art Orquestra and many others. His solos are a fiery mini show, it alone guarantees you won't forget this concert for a long time to come”, say the performers, adding intrigue to their upcoming performance.
